FAQ

Fast answers to the most common questions.

How long does a typical site take?

Starter: ~3 days. Business: ~1 week. Premium: 1–2 weeks depending on content, feedback speed, and add-ons.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes — 50% to start, 50% on delivery after you’re happy with the result.

What do you need from me to begin?

Your logo, brand colours (if any), page text, and 2–3 example sites you like. If you don’t have assets, I can help.

Can you handle domain and professional email?

Yes — I can set up your domain, connect hosting, and create an email like hello@yourshop.co.uk.

Is SEO included?

Basic on-page SEO is included: clean structure, titles, meta, OG tags, alt text, and performance optimisations.

What about revisions?

Starter: 1 round · Business: 2 rounds · Premium: 3 rounds. Further changes are billed at a simple hourly rate.

Do you help after launch?

I include a quick bug-fix window and can provide ad-hoc support or a small monthly care plan if you want ongoing help.

Where is the site hosted?

Static sites can go on Netlify/Vercel for speed and reliability. I’ll connect the domain and set everything up for you.

Who owns the website?

You do. I hand over the files and access. If we use a repo/host, your account is the owner and I’m removed when we’re done.

What if I need changes later?

Send me a list anytime. Small tweaks are quick; bigger updates can be quoted as a fixed mini-project.

Can you write the copy or source photos?

Yes — I can help with copy polish and find suitable stock images, or we can plan a simple photoshoot if needed.

Do you build with a CMS?

For simple sites I keep it lightweight. If you need a blog or editable pages, I can add a light CMS option.

Can you rush a project?

Sometimes — depends on scope and my current queue. Ask and I’ll let you know what’s realistic.

Accessibility — is that covered?

Yes — I use semantic HTML, keyboard-friendly components, and sensible colour contrast as standard.
